PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positive and negative pressure type erection assisting appliance which assists the penis of the male and is excellent in the best function. SOLUTION: In the cylindrical body of positive and negative pressure type erection assisting appliance, on leading end of an outer wall part 2 made of a medium hard synthetic resin is folded back inwardly to becomes an inner wall part 3 and the leading end of the inner wall part 3 on the opposite side thereof is annularly welded to the inside of the outer wall part 2 to form a hermetically closed annular air chamber 5 between the outer wall part 2 and the inner wall part 3 and is provided with the check valve 4 communicating with the outside of the outer wall part 2 of the air chamber 5 and an annular flange 6 installed in the outer periphery of the outer wall part 2. The cylindrical body pressurizes the penis. Further, a cylinder 7 to which a rubber pump 8 is connected has a structure for internally evacuating the cylinder 7 to erect the penis.
