IP COMMUNICATION EQUIPMENT AND IP COMMUNICATION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely confirm the transmission of electronic mail in a real time regardless of the presence/absence of relay in an electronic mail server in the case of transmitting electronic mail. SOLUTION: This IP communication equipment is provided with a communication control part 10 having either a function which transmits electronic mail to another terminal and a function which receives electronic mail and a call control part 8 for conducting call connection communication differently from electronic mail communication with the other terminal. The call control part 8 is characterized to establish call connection with the other terminal prior to the start of the transfer of data by electronic mail, and ends the transfer of data, and disconnects its call connection with the other terminal. Thus, it is possible to surely confirm the transmission of electronic mail in a real time regardless of the presence/absence of relay by an electronic mail server 5 in the case of transmitting electronic mail.
