PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact and low-cost optical scanner to scan an incident luminous flux reflected on an oscillation mirror part by incorporating a focusing lens therein. SOLUTION: The optical scanner 20 is provided with: the oscillation mirror part 2 on which a reflection face is formed; a supporting part 3 which serves as an oscillation axis of the oscillation mirror part 2; an optical scanning part 1 having a frame part 5 which holds the supporting part 3; and a case 14 which houses the optical scanning part 1, and emits the reflected luminous flux by scanning the incident luminous flux with the oscillation mirror part 2, wherein the width of the oscillation mirror part 2 in the axial direction of the oscillation axis is narrower than the width in the direction perpendicularly to the oscillation axis, the case 14 is provided with a transmission part 12 through which the incident luminous flux and the reflected luminous flux pass, and the transmission part 12 has a first optical element which converges the incident luminous flux into a shape corresponding to the shape of the oscillation mirror part 2.
