PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-shielding mesh sheet for a sunshade or a window shade, which has a natural fiber-like soft and mild appearance and excellent heat-shielding effect, durability and outward visibility. SOLUTION: The natural fiber-like mesh sheet having excellent heat-shielding property is produced by using a base cloth using a coarse-mesh woven or knit fabric composed of fiber yarn containing a staple spun yarn having surface fluffs, and impregnating or coating the base cloth with a heat-shielding layer containing a thermoplastic resin and 1-30 mass% amorphous metal oxide particles having a particle diameter distribution range of 0.3-3.0μm and an aspect ratio of 1.0-3.0 at a ratio of 20-60 mass% based on the total mass of the base cloth and the heat-shielding layer.
