PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a continuous carburizing furnace which can prepare a space for installing an intermediate door between two trays that are being transported and are placed in front and back, while keeping the shape of the furnace at a linear and planar shape. SOLUTION: The continuous carburizing furnace comprises: a purge chamber 21 and a heating chamber 22 arranged along a transporting direction, in an upstream of a carburization zone 23 in the transporting direction of the tray 200 having mounted a work-piece thereon, in this order; a lift mechanism 2; and pushers 3 and 4. The lift mechanism 2 lowers the tray 200 in the heating chamber 22. The pusher 3 presses the tray 200 toward the heating chamber 22 from the purge chamber 21. The pusher 4 presses the tray 200 toward the carburization zone 23 from the heating chamber 22. The pusher 4 is arranged in a lower part of the pusher 3. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
