PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyamide composition capable of meeting requirements for cycle shortening of injection molding, improvement of mechanical properties and heat aging resistance, and the like. SOLUTION: The polyamide composition comprises 1 kg of a polyamide composed of a dicarboxylic acid unit containing 50-100 mol% of a terephthalic acid unit and a diamine unit containing 50-100 mol% of a 6-18C aliphatic alkylene diamine unit, and having an intrinsic viscosity [η] measured in concentrated sulfuric acid at 30°C of 0.4-3.0 dl/g, and 0.01-0.2 mol of barium hydroxide blended therewith.
