PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a substance and a medicine inhibiting the activation of a G protein-coupled receptor. SOLUTION: The increase of intracellular Ca<SP>2+</SP>concentration induced by a GPR120-containing cell is remarkably suppressed to suppress (inhibit) the activation of the GPR120-containing cell by the addition of a thiazolidine compound such as rosiglitazone, troglitazone and ciglitazone. Taking advantage of the action, the invention provides a G protein-coupled receptor inhibitor containing a compound selected from thiazolidine compounds as an active component, and similarly provides a medicine containing a G protein-coupled receptor inhibitor as an active component.
