MICROPARTICLE PREPARATION AND MEDICINE COMPOSITION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a microparticle preparation that reduces an early-phase release, maintains a release of cisplatin (CDDP) for a long period of time, enhances an anticancer effect on cancer cells, alleviates adverse effects and enhances a life prolongation effect for patients and a pharmaceutical composition containing the microparticle preparation. SOLUTION: The microparticle preparation contains cisplatin intercalated into a double-helical DNA. Since the microparticle preparation stably retains cisplatin and has excellent sustained release properties, the microparticle preparation exhibits an excellent anticancer action for a long period of time while suppressing adverse effects in spite of using cisplatin having high toxicity.
