The device has separating walls (3) connected with each other such that a fluid to be cooled flows through a channel (1) and the cooled fluid flows through another channel (2). The channels are arranged together in heat exchange contact, where one of the walls extends from ribs (4) into one of the channels. The walls are formed in wavelike-shape and extend from the ribs into one of the channels. The ribs are arranged in an area of the walls protruding into the channels. The ribs are narrow in an extending direction.
