摘要 A V-ribbed belt (10) includes a lower rubber layer (12), an adhesive rubb er layer (16), and a canvas (22). The lower rubber layer (12) contains short fibers (14) a part of which is projecting from the friction surface (12S) o f the lower rubber layer (12). In the lower rubber layer (12), generation of abnormal noise is prevented when the V-ribbed belt (10) is used by using FE F which is carbon black having an average nitrogen surface area of 49 m2/g o r less (ASTM D1765-01) as a reinforcement agent, and by providing minute une venness on the friction surface (12S). Furthermore, appropriate surface roug hness is maintained even after the short fibers (14) projecting from the fri ction surface (12S) have worn down by employing the reinforcement agent, and generation of abnormal noise can be suppressed.
