<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller for motor which reduces the deviation of the actual output of the motor from the target output. <P>SOLUTION: A value corresponding to a predetermined equivalent resistance, corresponding to a power loss produced through switching of a switching element, is stored. A voltage command value is determined by adding a voltage drop value that depends on the value, corresponding to the equivalent resistance and the value of a current flowing through the switching element to a target applying voltage value, corresponding to a current command value which corresponds to the target output of the motor.
