<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To select a recording method conforming to the request of a user. <P>SOLUTION: An MPU 11 of an HDD recorder comprises a first setting section 112 for setting whether program information corresponding to one received physical channel is recorded or program information corresponding to one subchannel is recorded, a second setting section 113 for setting the channel number corresponding to one subchannel in case of the latter, a section 114 for extracting program information corresponding to one subchannel thus set among received program information in case of the latter, and a section 115 for recording the program information corresponding to one received physical channel in a program information storage section 191 in case of the former, and recording the program information corresponding to one extracted subchannel in the program information storage section 191 in case of the latter. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
