<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high frequency sensor device with an antenna whose radiation pattern can be easily controlled. <P>SOLUTION: A high frequency sensor device includes a transmission unit for generating a transmission wave, an antenna for emitting the transmission wave and receiving at least either a reflected wave or a transmitted wave, of the transmission wave, as a reception wave that is reflected by or transmitted through an object, and a reception unit for detecting the reception wave. The antenna includes a feed device with a patch electrode and at least two non-feed devices with a patch electrode. At least two non-feed devices are arranged around the feed device, and in each of at least two non-feed devices, a side which is parallel to an exciting direction and close to the feed device among sides of the patch electrode has a part facing the feed device, in which its length is larger than zero and shorter than a quarter-wave length. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
