<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To specify a protruding contour, which is protruded from a tissue displaying area, as a line. <P>SOLUTION: When a tracing result involves a missing part in a present frame, a compensating line part 34 is added outside the tissue display area so that a normal trace line 30 is formed. A trace line 40 in a past frame is used to generate the compensating line part 34. Moreover, the ratio of lengths on a line R1 and Rn is used.
