PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive and space-saving breaking test device allowing observation of a breaking state of a test body without being influenced by scattered objects or the like caused by breaking of the test body. SOLUTION: This breaking test device includes a storage body for storing the test body to be broken by supply of a pressure medium, and a transparent member arranged at a prescribed distance from the storage body. At least one or more hole parts having each prescribed longest diameter are provided on at least one side face of the storage body, and a transparent member arranged at a prescribed distance from the storage body is faced to the hole part.
