PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper delivery device capable of excellently aligning the delivered paper sheets independently of thickness of a printing paper sheet, and capable of excellently aligning the delivered paper sheets in printing at a relatively low delivery speed. SOLUTION: This paper delivery device comprises a paper sheet information detecting means for detecting thickness of a printing paper sheet P and determining whether the paper sheet P is a thick paper, a normal paper or a thin paper, a conveying means 20 for delivering the printing paper sheet P in a predetermined direction, a paper delivery base 10 for stacking the printed paper sheets P delivered by the conveying means 20, paper delivery wings 24 and 24 arranged in the conveyance terminal end of the conveying means 20 so as to curve the paper sheet P into a nearly U-shape in delivery by bringing contact with parts of the printing paper sheet P near two sides thereof in the cross direction X, a control means for instructing the paper delivery wings 24 and 24 so as to be respectively in a predetermined mode of movement during the delivery of the printing paper sheets P based on determination by the paper sheet information detecting means, and a driving means 28 for moving the paper delivery wings 24 and 24 in a mode of movement instructed by the control means.
