PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure compliance before and behind a wheel while constituting a lower arm of a rigid body in a suspension device comprising a trailing arm for connecting a knuckle to a vehicle body and the lower arm for connecting the vehicle body to the trailing arm. SOLUTION: An inner end of the vehicle width direction and an outer end of the vehicle width direction of a trailing arm 12 are pivotably supported by a vehicle body and a knuckle 11, respectively, an inner end of the vehicle width direction of a lower arm 14 is pivotably supported by the vehicle body, and an outer end of the vehicle width direction is connected to the trailing arm 12 via a pair of rubber bush joints 22, 23. When the load FX in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle body is input in a wheel W, the rubber bush joints 22, 23 are deformed even when the lower arm 14 is constituted of a rigid body which is hardly deflected in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle body, and the compliances before and behind the wheel W are enhanced to improve the ride quality. Further, the lower arm 14 is constituted of a rigid body which is hardly deflected, and the design degree of versatility of its material and shape is increased, and the cost and the weight can be reduced.
