PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent burrs from being generated even if a press-fit member having low hardness is press-fitted. SOLUTION: When a cylinder 60 having a press-formed hole 62 having low hardness is press-fitted to a primary shaft 51 of a fixed sheave 50 having high hardness, after the end part of the cylinder 60 abuts to a bulging inclined surface 542 of the press-fit surface 54 of the primary shaft 51, it advances to the press-fit direction along the bulging inclined surface 542, rides over round-shape angle, and reaches a cylinder holding surface 543 to complete the press-fitting. In that case, since the bulging inclined surface 542 is bulging shape from the position where the end part of the cylinder 60 passing the cylindrical surface 541 abuts to the round-shape angle, the cylinder 60 smoothly advances to the press-fit direction. Furthermore, since the boundary between the bulging inclined surface 542 and the cylinder holding surface 543 is not the angulated edge but round-shape rounded angle, the burrs are not generated by scraping of the inner peripheral surface of the hole 62 of the cylinder 60 when riding over the angle.
