PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dustproof structure for effectively controlling penetration of straw waste into an engine room. SOLUTION: In the dustproof structure of a head-feeding type combine harvester, having a constitution such that a grain culm conveying apparatus 14 for conveying reaped grain culms to a rear threshing apparatus 4 is arranged at the horizontal one side of the engine room 29; a nipping and conveying mechanism 16 for nipping and conveying the plant foot side of the reaped grain culms so that the reaped grain culms from the grain culm conveying apparatus 14 are conveyed, in such a way that the ear-tip side of the reaped grain culms is fed from a supply port 18 of the threshing apparatus 4 to a threshing chamber 19 and an ear tip guide 35 for guiding the ear-tip side of the reaped grain culms from the rear part of the grain culm conveying apparatus 14 to the supply port 18 are installed; a dustproof cover 38 for closing a gap S, formed between an engine cover 30 and the ear tip guide 35, is installed on the upper part of the engine cover 30 that forms the engine room 29.
