The anti-lock hydraulic braking system has a wheel braking circuit (14) with a main braking cylinder (HZ), a wheel braking cylinder (RZ) and a shifting valve (S). A volume compensation device (V) is enclosed at a accessory pressure circuit (16) in between a hydraulic pump (P) and a throttle device (D). The generated volume flow is changed by the hydraulic pump, in order to deprive a defined hydraulic fluidity from the wheel braking circuit.
