The construction has a connecting element (5) including an end area (6) that is insertable in a longitudinal slot of a profile bar in a position parallel to a longitudinal direction of another profile bar. The connecting element comprises a center area (14) with two thrust pieces (15) that force-fit rest against bases of the latter profile bar limiting and/or forming an undercut area. A holding pin (8) is formed at the connecting element, where the holding pin grips the bases. The connecting element detachably connects the two profile bars.
