<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clip fitting structure, of a writing utensil, which allows comparatively easier fixing of a tail crown to a barrel without worsening the presentable appearance of the writing utensil and also, secure fitting of a clip to the barrel. <P>SOLUTION: This clip fitting structure comprises the following components: (1) a barrel 11 with a notch 12 formed at the rear end and a securing hole 13 axially formed forward of the notch 12, (2) a clip body 22, (3) a fitting plate 23 with an apex edge, formed from both sides of the rear part, coming into contact with the outer surface of the barrel 11, (4) a fitting piece 24 to be secured to the hole edge of the securing hole 13, (5) a clip 21 with a securing piece 27 to be fitted into the notch 12 in the state that the fitting piece 24 is secured to the hole edge of the securing hole 13, (6) an insertion part 32 to be inserted into the rear part of the barrel 11 from the rear end of the barrel 11, and (7) the tail crown 31 with a large diametral part 33 which comes into contact with the securing piece 27 fitted into the notch 12 and inhibits the movement of the clip 21 to the rear. In addition, a securing projection 16 which swells toward the inner part of the barrel 11 from its inner periphery, is formed at the rear part of the barrel 11, and a securing recess 34 to which the securing projection 16 is secured, in the state that the large diametral part 33 is brought into contact with the securing piece 27, is formed in the insertion part 32. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
