<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal diffusion sheet which can be used more suitably, in diffusion application of the heat from a heating body, and to provide its manufacturing method. <P>SOLUTION: A thermal diffusion sheet 11 comprises a thermal conductive layer 12, a thermal diffusion layer 13 provided on the surface of the thermal conductive layer 12, and a heat-insulating layer 14 provided on the surface of the thermal diffusion layer 13. The thermal conductive layer 12 is formed from a composition, containing organic high polymer and thermally conductive filler. The thermal diffusion layer is formed from metal material. The heat-insulating layer 14 is formed from the material having electrically insulating nature. The thermal diffusion sheet 11 is manufactured through: a processes for providing the heat-insulating layer 14 on the surface of the thermal diffusion layer 13; a process for preparing a composition by mixing liquid-like organic high polymer having thermally-setting nature with thermally conductive filler; and a process in which, the composition is applied on the surface of the thermal diffusion layer 13, which is counter to the surface where the heat insulating layer 14 is provided and then the composition is heated to cure the organic high polymer for forming the thermal conductive layer 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
