PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brace having a vibration control effect also on a second shake, and vibration control structure having the brace. SOLUTION: As tensile characteristics of laminated rubber 60, generated stress becomes high in proportion to the amount of strain in an initial strain region, and in a subsequent strain region, the generated stress does not become so high even if the amount of strain increases. The brace 20 is provided with the laminated rubber 60. When a shake is small, stress is thereby generated in proportion to the amount of elongation of the laminated rubber 60, and the shake can be efficiently suppressed. When the shake is large, the amount of elongation of the laminated rubber 60 increases, but since the generated stress does not become so high even with elongation, the brace 20 is prevented from being plastically deformed while preventing large force from being applied to a connection part between the brace 20 and a structural member 14.
