PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device where a lid of a battery storage part and the lid of a storage medium inserting part can be locked. SOLUTION: A video camera (imaging device) is provided with the device body 1 having a battery lid 13 of the battery storage part for storing a battery and a lid 15 of a memory card inserting part 14; a lens-holding part 23 to be driven upon starting the device body 1; one lock pin 16 that is moved, while interlocking with the lens holding part 23; and a lock lever 19 that is turned in the direction of arrow G that locks the battery lid 13 and the lid 15 of the memory card inserting part 14 by the movement of the lock pin 16.
