PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bus system and its control method for transmitting estimated standby time to a master requesting the use of a bus, and allowing the master to perform valid operation during the estimated standby time. SOLUTION: The bus system transmitting reserved stand-by time includes a plurality of masters, a slave, and a bus part which supports connections between the plurality of masters and the slave and transmits the estimated standby time to at least one master among the plurality of masters if one of the plurality of masters already occupies the bus.
