PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a person recognition device preventing duplicated registration of dictionary information for the same person. SOLUTION: In this person recognition device specifying whether a person is a previously registered person or not by collating a face image acquired from a target person with the previously registered dictionary information, when the dictionary information to be registered is input, a similarity between the dictionary information and all the already registered dictionary information is obtained. When the dictionary information having predetermined similarity or above is present, information related to the dictionary information is output together with warning information.
