PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chloroprene copolymer latex having a carboxyl group in the molecule, and stably exhibiting good adhesion property in the case of using as an adhesive by minimizing the molecular weight change during storage and preventing the formation of a gel and to provide a method for producing the chloroprene copolymer latex. SOLUTION: The chloroprene copolymer latex has a carboxyl group in the molecule, containing a pH regulation agent and an anionic emulsifying dispersing agent composed of a sulfonic acid salt and/or sulfuric acid salt and has a pH of 1.5-5.5 at 25°C, and a method for producing the chloroprene latex is provided.
