METHOD FOR INHIBITING FLUORINE ELUTION FROM SLAG

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inhibit an elution of fluorine securely at a low cost when a high-strength hydraulically hardened body is manufactured by using a converter slag containing fluorine and used as a roadbed material or the like by being crushed and regulated in its particle size. SOLUTION: When one kind or more selected from slaked lime, quicklime or cement and water are added to a mixture comprising a converter slag containing fluorine of≥83% and a SiO2containing substance having latent hydraulicity of≤17% and mixed, an elution of fluorine from the slag is inhibited by regulating the value of parameter S=W(CaO)+0.13W(2CaO SiO2)-0.22W(F)-15.4 within a range of 60-130.
