PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a deposit of charged mist to an object to be protected. SOLUTION: A charged mist desposit preventing means 1 for preventing deposit of charged mist S jetted from a spray nozzle 24 of an electrostatic atomizer 13 to the object to be protected comprises a cover member 2 installed between the spray nozzle 24 and the object to be protected so as to block the charged mist S directing to the object to be protected, and an electric potential imparting means 3 for imparting electric potential to the cover member 2.
