PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooker in which safety when use is improved by exerting a quenching effect by a quenching member at a stage where a flame risen in a heating chamber K is still small, while the quenching member does not generate clogging up due to intrusion of foreign matter. SOLUTION: The cooker is provided with an exhaust passage R which is linked in such a form that rises upward from the heating chamber K provided with a heating means 2 for heating cooked objects and guides cooking exhaust to an exhaust exit above, and a porous quenching member 31 installed inside the exhaust passage R. The quenching member 31 is provided in a state that the foreign matter that has fallen and intruded through the exhaust exit 28 is received and is not suspended at a part nearer to the heating chamber K side than to an upper end side part in the exhaust passage R. At the installation part of the quenching member 31 in the exhaust passage R, an alien substance passage 32 for passing the foreign matter that has fallen and intruded through the exhaust exit 28 through the side of the heating chamber K is formed.
