PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means to confirm whether an area with high accumulation rate of radioactive isotopes is included within an imaging range when setting an imaging range of a radiolucent image. SOLUTION: In a PET/CT system, a PET image is first acquired by the PET system 30. A doctor or the like specifies an area with high probability of canceration (an area with high accumulation rate of radioactive isotopes) in the PET image on the basis of the acquired PET image. An imaging range of a radiolucent image is then determined on the basis of the area with high accumulation rate of radioactive isotopes. When such a range is determined, an input section 2 is operated to display on an image display section 6, via an index display control section 10, an index showing on the PET image the imaging range of a radiolucent image. Because the index shows the imaging range of a radiolucent image, doctors or the like can confirm, before carrying out radiolucent imaging, whether the area with high accumulation rate of radioactive isotopes is included within the imaging range of the radiolucent image.
