The invention relates to an implant (6) for sealing abdominal wall defects, consisting of at least one plug-type element (8), which can adapt at least to a great extent to the inner region of the gap of an abdominal wall defect that is to be sealed, and a flat extension element (7), which, when viewed from the interior of the stomach, completely covers the region of the gap from the insde by lying on the tissue surrounding said gap. Said implant is characterised in that both elements (7, 8) are combined and the flat extension element (7) has an anti-adhesive coating at least on the side facing the interior of the stomach. The implant is particularly suitable for simple laparoscopic procedures and methods. The invention also relates to corresponding kits. |
