An image forming apparatus, an image forming system and a method of controlling the image forming apparatus are provided to adjust a job count automatically which is selected by a user to reduce maintenance cost and time and improve job efficiency. An image forming apparatus(10) capable of performing multiple jobs includes a storage unit and a controller(11). The storage unit stores job counts corresponding to the multiple jobs. The controller adjusts the count of a currently executed job among the multiple jobs by using a count threshold of another job when the count of the currently executed job is insufficient.
