摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reactor reducing a temperature difference in the reactor even when a length of a reaction tube is increased more than a conventional one. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of burner structures 13 are arranged along reaction tube rows 4A, 4B so as to comprise more than one row of burner rows between two rows of the reaction tube rows 4A, 4B. A distance L1 between the two rows of the reaction tube rows 4A, 4B, a flow velocity of high temperature air supplied from a high temperature air supply opening, and a distance L2 between the two rows of reaction tube rows 4A, 4B and a pair of side walls 1c, 1d are determined such that a major portion of high temperature air combustion gas generated by high temperature air combustion flame coming from the plurality of burner structures 13 rises to an upper wall 1b neighborhood in an inner side space IS between the two rows of reaction tube rows, it flows along the upper wall 1b, it separates into side wall 1c, 1d sides and goes into outer side spaces OS1, OS2 between the two rows of reaction tube rows and the pair of side walls, and then, it descends to a bottom wall 1a neighborhood and goes into the inner side space IS again to be guided to a discharge opening. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
