<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a double metallocyanide catalyst for making polyether polyol by polyaddition of alkylene oxide to a starter compound containing an active hydrogen atom. <P>SOLUTION: The double metallocyanide catalyst contains one or more double metallocyanide compounds represented by formula M[M'(CN)<SB>4</SB>] and one or more organic complex ligands. When being used for making polyether polyol by polyaddition of alkylene oxide to a starter compound containing an active hydrogen atom, the double metallocyanide catalyst can make polyol containing a very low double bond content with requiring no or almost no induction time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
