<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording ink composition being highly sensitive to an actinic radiation, being capable of forming an image of excellent curability, being curable into an image of high adhesion to a recording substrate, and exhibiting excellent ejection stability when used in an inkjet printer and to provide an inkjet recording method using the ink composition. <P>SOLUTION: The inkjet recording ink composition contains (A) a vinyl-substituted heterocyclic compound containing two or more hetero atoms in the ring and (B) a radical polymerization initiator.
