<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem of a conventional retaining mechanism of foldable side rail that a releasing operation lever is apt to be unexpectedly operated but, when double locking is applied to prevent the unexpected operation, automatic retaining operation cannot be executed. <P>SOLUTION: In a parallel link mechanism type foldable side rail by this invention, a retaining mechanism 4 is provided at the end part of an upper lateral bar member 1u to constitute a mechanism support member 5 for linking a column member, a stopper pin 12 is provided so as to move forward/rearward to energize the stopper pin 12 in the forward moving direction by energizing of a spring 13, and a fitting hole 10 capable of fitting with the stopper pin 12 in a raised attitude of the support member is provided at the support member, and further a releasing operation lever 6 to engage with the operation member 15 provided at the stopper pin to move rearward the stopper pin is provided at the mechanism support member, and a release prevention mechanism to regulate movement of the release operation lever in the release operation direction is provided at the mechanism support member. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
