PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor device wherein the structure of a pull-up or pull-down resistor can be arbitrarily changed after the manufacture is finished. SOLUTION: A Pch transistor 24 is inserted between a power supply line 20 and a signal line 14 and an Nch transistor 25 is inserted between a ground line 22 and the signal line 14, and the gate voltages of the transistors 24 and 25 are controlled by a changeover circuit 17. The changeover circuit 17 comprises a NAND gate 26 which has an output portion connected to the gate of the Pch transistor 24, an AND gate 27 which has an output portion connected to the gate of the Nch transistor 25 and one of the input portions commonly connected to one of the input portions of the NAND gate 26, and an inverter gate 28 which has an output portion connected to the other input portion of the AND gate 27 and an input portion commonly connected to the other input portion of the NAND gate 26. To the one of the input portions of the NAND gate 26, an enable signal ENB is inputted, while a selection signal SEL is inputted into the other input portion of the NAND gate 26.
