PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simply structured optical transmission/reception module that can correct an angular deviation of incident light to an optical fiber and that can simplify a manufacturing process and reduce cost, in an optical transmission/reception module in use for optical communication, particularly, for an optical transceiver for single-core bi-directional communication. SOLUTION: The optical transmission/reception module 100 includes: an optical fiber 153 having an optical incident/exiting end face 154 formed inclined to the center axis 5; a light emitting component 120 for emitting light in the optical fiber 153 direction; an optical element 2 that is arranged between the optical fiber 153 and the light emitting component 120 and that couples light emitted from the light emitting component 120 with the light incident/exiting end face 154; and a spacial region 70 between the optical fiber 153 and the optical element 2.
