PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin type display device efficiently sucking air near a substrate having terminals for input and output signals and increasing heat radiation by natural convection in a cabinet. SOLUTION: The thin type display device comprises a display unit 1 which has a display surface on a front side, substrates 3 and 5 which have a plurality of terminals 31 and 51 where connectors 2 are connected and disconnected and are fitted to a rear side of the display unit 1, and a cabinet 7 which covers the rear side of the display unit 1. The cabinet 7 is provided with an inlet 74 which is open below the substrates 3 and 5 and a discharge port 76 which is open above it, and the plurality of terminals 31 and 51 are disposed at the inlet 74 so that the conductors 2 can be connected/disconnected from below, thereby the inlet 74 efficiently sucks air near the substrates 3 and 5.
