PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera system whose output rising time is short, and which excels in responsiveness or achieves power saving. SOLUTION: The camera system includes a drive circuit 14 driving an actuator 15, a power supply terminal 16 to which power supply voltage is supplied, and a power supply circuit 13 boosting power supply voltage BAT for outputting when the voltage of the power supply terminal 16 is below a predetermined value, and also outputting the power supply voltage BAT without boosting it when the voltage of the power supply terminal 16 is equal to or above the predetermined value.
