PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an axial-flow fan for suppressing the transmission of vibration to a fan housing when a rotor is rotated, particularly for suppressing the generation of vibration when the rotor is rotated at a low speed. SOLUTION: A relationship between a stator 11 and the fan housing 3 is determined so that the rate (TSt/TFr) of a thickness size TSt of a stator core 41 measured in the direction parallel to the axial direction to a thickness size TFr of a rotating shaft 37 of the fan housing 3 measured in the direction parallel to the axial direction is 8-25%. Thus, an overall value for a plurality of frequency components caused by cogging torque, out of a plurality of frequency components of vibration which is transmitted to the fan housing 3 when the rotor 9 is rotated, is smaller than an overall value for frequency components caused by the unbalance of the rotor 9.
