PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel pump reducing damage of current-carrying components. SOLUTION: An end cover 80 and a bearing holder 90 of the fuel pump are integrally molded of insulative resin, respectively. In the bearing holder 90, a bearing and the current-carrying components such as a brush 64 and a pigtail 66 for flowing a drive current to a commutator of a motor part are stored. On the diameter of the bearing holder 90, partition plates 92, 94 protruded toward the end cover 80 side are molded of resin integrally with the bearing holder 90. The partition plates 92, 94 are formed to have a plate shape and their thickness is 0.5 mm to 1.0 mm. With the end cover 80 assembled to the bearing holder 90, the partition plates 92, 94 partition positive electrode sides and negative electrode sides of the current-carrying components. A semicircular notch 93 is formed in an opposing part of the partition plate 92 facing a fuel discharge port 210. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
