PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ash tray for game machines which achieves the effective prevention of such an accident as inadvertent inversion of the ash tray, the withstanding of its prolonged use and other characteristics while improving and maintaining workability in the recovery and cleaning work of cigarette butts or the like. SOLUTION: The main body (60) of the ash tray having a recess (61) for storing the cigarette butts or the like is slidably and rotatably provided relative to an ash tray housing (50) formed in a tray receiving member (4). Pressing means (55 and 56) and a guide groove (54) are so arranged as to block the main body of the ash tray from being moved unless it is operated to move intentionally by a worker or the like. This can prevent an accident of scattering the butts or the like as caused by a sudden contact while facilitating the recovery work of the content of the ash tray. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
