[PROBLEMS] To produce a soymilk having excellent qualities and simultaneously elevate the extraction ratio of the soymilk by avoiding overflow of foam in the squeezing step. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] An apparatus for producing soymilk which comprises: heating units (H1, H2) for heating go (a soybean paste) (1); a defoaming unit (F) for defoaming the heated go (2); a squeezing unit (B) for separating the defoamed go (3) into soymilk (Tn1), okara (bean curd refuse) (Tn2) and a liquid residue (Tn3); and pipe lines (u11, u12) for returning the separated liquid residue (Tn3) to the position before the above-described defoaming unit (F) or after the heating unit (H2) or (H1) and feeding it again into the defoaming unit (F) as described above, wherein the pipe lines (u11, u12) for feeding into the defoaming unit (F) is connected to a liquid residue discharge port (B3j) of the above-described squeezing unit (B) from which the liquid residue (Tn3) having been separated is taken out. The liquid residue (Tn3) is forcibly fed into the defoaming unit (F) again with a transfer pump (P4).
