The belt (1) has a load-bearing structure (4) formed from polymer layers (2, 3, 5, 6) in which fibers (10-12) are embedded at a length of 1 millimeter, where the fibers are aramide, glass, carbon, polyethylene or polyacryl amide. Filler material particles (9) are embedded in the polymer layers and a functional polymer layer. The belt is formed by the load-bearing structure and the functional polymer layer, where the functional polymer layer has a thickness of more than 1 millimeter. The fibers embedded in the polymer layers are aligned in a direction.
