摘要 <p>V ribbed belt (10) includes inferior rubber layer (12), adhesive rubber layer (16) and canvas (22). The inferior rubber layer (12) contains staple fibers (14), some of which project from surface (12S) of the inferior rubber layer. In the inferior rubber layer (12), FEF being a carbon black of 49 m&lt;SUP&gt;2&lt;/SUP&gt;/g or less average nitrogen surface area (ASTM D1765-01) is used as a reinforcing agent to thereby produce fine unevenness on the surface (12S) of the inferior rubber layer. This prevents the generation of noise at the time of use of the V ribbed belt (10). Further, by virtue of the use of the reinforcing agent, appropriate surface roughness can be maintained even after the wear-out of the staple fibers (14) projecting from the surface (12S) of the inferior rubber layer, thereby attaining inhibition of the generation of noise.</p>
