<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device in which the occurrence of shading and stripe unevenness due to the wiring resistance of a gate pulse can be suppressed. <P>SOLUTION: A data wiring DTL is pulled up to a new layer 301 by TiAl etc., and the new layer 301 is disposed in a second wiring layer of the layer upper than a scanning line WSL (drive wiring 200) disposed in the first wiring layer. Also, the new layer 301 is provided with a contact 302 between Al-Al (new layers), and a source which is a first terminal of a TFT 114 is connected to the new layer 301 through the contact 302. Further, the scanning line WSL and a gate part 114a of the TFT 114 are connected.
