<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine starting/stopping switch device to be placed in one place, saving space, and improved in convenience. <P>SOLUTION: This switch device 1 is arranged in front of a driver's seat of a vehicle. Alternatively, the switch device 1 comprises a key cylinder portion 10 and a push switch portion 30. The push switch portion 30 comprises an operation portion 31, a projection portion 32 and a switch 33, and the operation portion 31 is arranged in the periphery of a key insert opening 11 provided in the key cylinder portion 10. When the operation portion 31 is pushed for operation by a smart ignition function in the state possible to start an engine, the projecting portion 32 pushes the switch 33 so as to turn on the switch 33.
